De conceptuele benadering en introverte aard van beeldend kunstenaar Ingrid van den Oord (1967) levert bijzonder werk op.Ingrid richt zich op de vraag hoe mensen zich tot elkaar en de snel veranderende maatschappij verhouden, en woelt in de tijdgeest. Hoe gaan mensen om met het voortsnellen van tijd, revoluties, digitalisering en sociale verschuivingen, en met invloed van toepassingen voortkomend uit wetenschap en onderzoek?

Ingrid werkt veel in hout, dat voor haar een goed uitdrukkingsmateriaal is gebleken. Als een werk of een idee erom vraagt, pakt ze ook andere materialen en technieken op, ook als dat buiten haar comfortzone is.

In 2013 heeft ze haar debuut poëziebundel uitgebracht, in aug 2016 haar tweede bundel. In 2017 is er een audiobook uitgegeven van de bundel kanaalrat. 

Op 18 aug 2018 de publicatie van de bundel ZOET & ZILT ter afsluiting van twee jaar dichter van de Hoeksche Waard. Ook in audiobook verkrijgbaar.

In 2021 volgde de publicatie van de bundel: 'Vang de derde'.

Introduction 

The work of art from Ingrid van den Oord, characterizes itself by her conceptual approach and introvert character. How do people associate with eachother, the society they live in. How do they handle with speed in time, revolutions, digita, social shifting, and with the influence of applications out of science? 

Wood proves to be the material in wich she expresses herself good. But, she uses other materials to work with, if the idea ore concept demands that. In 2013 she had her first poetry anthology, and in aug 2016 her second was presented. In 2017 a audiobook is presented, from the anthology Kanaalrat .On the 18 of aug 2018 she presented the poetry anthology ZOET & ZILT, also in audiobook. In 2021 the presentation of the new poetry anthology: 'Vang de derde'
